The best states for studies and careers in the U.S.
Every year Forbes magazine publishes a list of the most favorable places to do business in the United States. We decided to find out in which cities and states you should study in order to stay after university, get a job in a company, or start your own business.
If you think you should go to New York, Boston or San Francisco for your career, listen to Forbes analysts. According to 2015 data, America's southern, mountainous and Pacific states offer a far more business-friendly environment than Wall Street and Silicon Valley. Forbes took into account job growth, the cost of doing business and the level of education when ranking the "200 Best Places to Do Business in the U.S." The last point was the most decisive, as companies are increasingly opening offices away from Manhattan to attract the team of smart engineers and managers from regional, but no less ranked universities.
West Palm Beach, Florida
Located on the east coast of Florida, West Palm Beach is one of the top 20 places to do business thanks to the tourism industry. The world's largest collector car auction, film festivals and golf tournaments draw more than 6 million tourists to the city each year. In 2016, the resort plans to earn $7.5 billion and provide 66,000 jobs. All efforts are focused on eco-entertainment, family vacations, suites and business meetings, while Florida Atlantic University students and alumni will provide the workforce.

Another Colorado city, Fort Collins, also made Forbes' top 10 and has managed to house Hewlett Packard and Intel subsidiaries. It seems that the technology giants seriously intend to take advantage of the "minds" of the state's main university.
